Google has updated their mobile-friendly criteria which will affect their Google search results. The biggest change is the tags that come up when you search identifying, “mobile-friendly” sites.

Google unveiled a few weeks ago its mobile-friendly test. Enter your website’s URL and find out if you pass the test! It yes, great work. If not, you will be given specific reasons why not.  Some of those may include:

-text too small to read

-Links too close together

-Mobile viewport not set.

For a deeper dive into your website?s mobile friendliness, you can use Google?s Webmaster Tools, specifically their Mobile Usability Report. This report will give you a full list of the mobile usability issues across your entire website.

Hubspot has put together a comprehensive guide on walking you through this change including some suggestions you can implement today.
